Telkom binary ADSL SA news

Telkom Internet’s capped subscribers will receive uncapped data for a limited period when activating the company’s Do Gaming add-on. This service will be free for the first 30 days.

Telkom announced that it will offer two “uncapped data” promotions relating to its Do Movies and Do Gaming services.

The new Do Gaming add-on offers uncapped data to major gaming platforms and servers from 4 October 2013 for 30 days from activation.

The “free data” platforms include the PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Battle.net, Steam, Origin and the Do Gaming Servers.

All data used on these gaming platforms – for online gaming, downloading a patch or downloading a game – will not be deducted from a customer’s in-bundle data.

The Do Gaming add-on can be purchased from 1 November 2013 or after the 30 day trial for R49 per month.

The Do Movies promotion offers uncapped data from 1 October 2013 to 31 March 2014 for DStv Catch Up online, DStv BoxOffice online, Apple TV through iTunes and Samsung Video Hub.

When using these services, the data will not be deducted from a Telkom Internet subscriber’s in-bundle data cap.
