I agree, it would be great if they gave the update for free 😛
It’s a tough one; surely core game elements such as improved AI and balance must be patched in for free.
I could lean toward an argument that the improved boss battles are a type of new content, but if it simply replaces the existing battles with no option to choose between the two, then surely it’s more like a patch as well?
I don’t own any of the previous DLC, so I’m hoping they release a “Director’s Cut upgrade DLC” on Steam. That would see me playing through the game again.
