Alienware has confirmed that its range of bags and cases for Alienware products will launch in South Africa.
“For the Alienware Gear, we have in South Africa the headset, mouse and keyboard currently available, and we are planning to bring the bags and cases into the country,” said Gavin Slevin, Regional Sales Manager of Dell in SA.
“The bags and cases are certainly on the roadmap, and we’ve been trying to bring them in for quite some time, but it looks like we’re going to get it right this year.”
There will be the 14-inch, 17-inch and 18-inch backpacks and carrycases.
As for the pricing, they will be “very much in-line” within the US pricing of the products. The carrying cases range from $29.99 (R300*) to $99.99 (R1,000*).
The gear in the SA shop currently includes the Alienware TactX headset (R899), the Alienware TactX Keyboard (R1,299), and the Alienware TactX mouse (R799).
