This week, we return to David Cage’s cinematic mind as Beyond: Two Souls prepares to follow the well-acclaimed footsteps of Heavy Rain, while Snake fans will get a heavy dose of nostalgia with the Metal Gear Solid: Legacy Collection.

Beyond: Two Souls (11 October 2013)

Following on from Heavy Rain, Quantic Dream’s new game, Beyond: Two Souls, is no typical murder mystery, as the game features supernatural elements to highlight the dramatic psychological thriller undertone to the action.

Academy Award nominee Ellen Page (Inception) stars as the main character, Jodie Holmes, and provided voice and motion capture for the role.

The story revolves around Jodie’s psychic link with an invisible entity, which grants her extraordinary supernatural powers. Jodie will apparently be trotting across the globe in her adventures, and players will be able to control both her and her psychic entity.
