Microsoft congratulates Sony on PS4 launch

16 November 2013

The next-gen console battle has been in full PR swing this year, and no doubt it will continue for the next decade.

But Microsoft Xbox (or the person in charge of their Twitter account at least) decided to be a good sport and congratulate Sony on its 15 November launch of the PS4. Microsoft will get their turn next week, on 22 November.

Microsoft congratulates Sony tweet

The warm fuzzy feelings didn’t stop there, as Xbox Live Community Manager Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb took to Twitter to congratulate Sony President of Worldwide Studios, Shuhei Yoshida:

Congratulations to @Playstation on their North American launch cc @yosp @amboyes

Yoshida replied:

@majornelson @PlayStation @amboyes Thanks Larry, your turn next week! šŸ˜€

D’aaaawww. See, we can all get along.
