Lindsay Lohan is considering suing Rockstar for the use of her likeness, according to rumours that were first started by American tabloid TMZ.
TMZ reports that Lohan contacted her lawyers and told them to begin taking action against Rockstar for the use of her likeness in the game and referencing her directly in three parts of the game.
In a mission that you encounter randomly in the game, players have to pick up stranded celeb Lacey Jonas, who is being hounded by paparazzi, and take her home (or to the Altruist Cult if you’re playing as Trevor, which is never a good idea). During the ride home Lacey tells you her life story and how hard it is being in the spotlight, and that she’s even moved out of her parent’s house to try get rid of her Southern Accent.
Lacey sort of looks like Lohan if you squint and look at the picture sideways. Sort of.
A second mission handed to you by Beverly, The Sex Tape, requires players (with Franklin) to capture photographs of Poppy Mitchell having sex with a teenager in the courtyard of a famous hotel in Vinewood. Once you’re found by Mitchell, she chases you around Vinewood until crashing in a construction yard. Later Franklin is tasked with following a drunken Mitchell escaping from the police, only to crash into a tree and be arrested.
Poppy doesn’t really look like Lohan all that much, to be honest. She even has brown hair.
The third alleged reference is that the blonde model holding an iFruit phone in the game’s artwork is a likeness of Lohan. Although many people believe that the blonde is based on Kate Upton, it was actually Shelby Wellinder who posed for the camera for use in Rockstar’s artwork.
My question is, why doesn’t anyone think its Tracey De Santa, Michael’s daughter? She’s a wanna-be celeb and porn actress and regularly gets into trouble with bad crowds and the authorities, even if it was Michael who screwed her up in the first place. I mean, she even looks a little like Lohan. Does no-one really like Tracey?
