Developer SparkPlug Games has announced that in addition to Android and iOS, their MMO Firefly Online will be heading to PC and Mac around Q2/Q3 2014.

Digital distribution channels, pre-orders, and pricing are said to be announced soon.

SparkPlug said that the game will have feature parity across all platforms, so no one will be playing a gimped version, and progress will be persistent across mobile and desktop devices.

Players will be able to captain a ship, recruit a crew and engage in missions, all while trading and fighting for survival. The player’s ship will be customisable, and users can trade and interact with others in the game.
