14 January 2014

Last week Gigabyte unveiled its latest entry into the gaming laptop market, and on paper, the Aorus X7 is quite impressive.

Now Rectron, distributor of Gigabyte products in SA, has confirmed we will be receiving the sexy aluminium number.

“The official South African launch date for the Aorus is April 2014, pricing will be confirmed closer to launch date,” a Rectron spokesperson told MyGaming.

The standout features of the X7 are its 17.3-inch Full HD display, 2.9kg and 22.9mm thick design, and powerful 4th gen. Intel Haswell Core i7-4700HQ CPU and dual Nvidia GTX 765M SLI GPUs.

The aluminium chassis features 5 thermal pipes, 4 vents and 2 fans direct heat to the rear of the laptop.
