Ster Kinekor Entertainment (SKE), distributor of Sony PlayStation products in South Africa, has confirmed that more stock of PS4 consoles will be arriving in the country on 7 February 2014.

“We are overwhelmed with how incredible the PlayStation 4 has done since its launch in 2013 and have shown a record Q4 2013 and the first part of Q1 this year in our hardware sales figures,” said Mario dos Santos, Chief Executive Officer of Ster Kinekor Entertainment.

SKE did not confirm how many units will be arriving in SA, nor what the new recommended retail price of the console will be.

It was recently confirmed by SKE that the PS4 would see a price increase in SA due to the weak rand exchange.
