Xbox’s Games With Gold for April has been announced, with Hitman: Absolution and Deadlight coming free to Gold subscribers.
The initiative gives Xbox Live Gold members a new, free downloadable title on the 1st and 16th of every month for Xbox 360.
Hitman Absolution is up first from 1 April, and is a welcome addition to the list having scored well overall with reviewers when it was released. The Square Enix published game sees you taking control of Agent 47 and his mission to “deal with” his handler who has gone rogue.
From 16 April, Deadlight, a side-scrolling survival horror, will replace Hitman. The game was launched in 2012 for Xbox Live Arcade and was generally well received.
Xbox SA have yet to confirm if local gamers will be receiving these titles, but both are available on the South African Marketplace – a good indication we will get them too.
Update: Xbox SA has confirmed that local Gold members will receive Hitman: Absolution and Deadlight in April.
