Reaper of Souls is selling by the millions

3 April 2014

Diablo 3 expansion Reaper of Souls has sold 2.7 million copies in its first week on sale, Blizzard has reported.

“We’re excited to see that players are enjoying the changes we’ve made to the game, and we look forward to achieving our Paragon levels alongside everyone else in the weeks and months ahead,” said Blizzard CEO Mike Morhaime.

The sales figure includes digital and physical copies for the PC and Mac, and comes off the back of a February announcement by Blizzard that Diablo 3 had sold 15 million units.

Blizzard also said that Death has been killed more than 1.5 million times by players, as a fun side fact.
