Flockers from Worms developer Team17

7 April 2014

We all like Worms, but after endless versions of the game, it’s time for a change. Cue Team17’s new title, Flockers.

The game has been likened to Lemmings, and players will control a steady and finite stream of sheep as they march their way through obstacles on their way home.

Each stage is a sprawling, steampunk affair, and they’ve been filled to the brim with lots of meat-pressing machinery; spiky floors that make instant kebabs of your flock when they fall onto them; and anvils.

Some of the tools you will have at your disposal to ensure your flock survive include: nominating a group of sheep to build a bridge, enabling sheep to fly over tall obstacles; timed-exploding sheep; and blocking sheep.

Flockers is expected to arrive on Steam Early Access for PC in June 2014.

What do you think – is Flockers a game you would like to play? Let us know in the comments and forum.
