Incredible Connection launches gaming site

18 June 2010

Incredible Connection launched Gaming Inc yesterday.

According to doGaming this comes as a result of the company’s gaming strategy which they employed Trevor “qu1k_shot” Henry to develop. The site itself has been a number of months in the making.

Gaming Inc’s mission statement is currently visible on its front page.

“Gaming Inc plans to take control of the South African Gaming Market and has been loaded with ammunition from Incredible Connection. With the backing and support of Incredible Connection, Gaming Inc has the buying power to ensure the best deals for all Gaming Inc Members.

How do we plan to do this? Well it is quite simple, we want you to tell us how! That’s right, Gaming Inc has a fully functioning forum, and full time staff to look after you.”

doGaming reports that Gaming Inc will be in Incredible Connection stores and that pre-order shelves are already available at:

– Gateway (Durban)

– East Rand Retail park (Benoni)

– Alberton

– The Glen (Glenvista)

– Sandton City (Sandton)

– Canal Walk (Cape Town)

– Pietermaritzburg

– Menlyn (Pretoria)

– Eastgate (Bedfordview)

While there are currently only 9 stores with pre-order shelves, any Incredible Connection store can process pre-orders.

Members will receive a Gaming Inc card which will allow them to buy games on pre-order and receive discounts on certain items.

Henry said that the four cards on offer are “just for a start” and that they plan to have many more cards to choose from in future.

“The idea for Gaming Inc is to create a platform where gamers can interact, get the latest gaming news, buy the games they want, play in competitions, win great prizes and so on,” Henry said. “The Gaming Inc site gamers visit now is only the beginning. But now that we’ve launched the site, there will be a lot more content going onto the site and Gaming Inc’s rollout will begin in earnest. So gamers should keep checking in on a regular basis for the latest updates.”
