Gamer Girl magazine – will it vibrate your controller?

15 May 2014

Cred Magazine is looking to break into the gaming market with its latest title: Gamer Girl.

You won’t find an in-depth review of Wolfenstein: The New Order or a benchmark test of the latest AMD CPU in this fine publication, but you will find scantly-clad women with big breasts and hair extensions rated by Swag Level and Sex Drive.

May’s Lady Sage, “the sexy droid you were looking for”, scored 10/10 for both – that’s impressive. How does she find time to strike such balance in her life?

Gamer Girl, which is available online, promises to feature video game models, cosplay girls, and not much else from what we saw of the preview pages. The link between the models and gaming is tenuous at best, with the ladies tentatively holding PS Vita’s and console controllers.

The first issue – whose cover is pictured below – features Kristy Ann, who is apparently an Xbox fan, has poor eyesight, and can’t afford new glasses on her paltry modelling salary.

We don’t want to get sanctimonious about this, and we will be the first to admit that pretty girls will always pique the interest of most of us, but does this come across as offensive to gamers?

Does a girl who plays video games have to possess DD breasts and wear Victoria’s Secret to be put in the spotlight, or should we accept that most gamers, regardless of sex, play their favourite title in their pyjamas while rubbing the sleep out of their eyes?

Let us know what you think about Gamer Girl in the comments and forum.

Sounds good, I’ll sign up. Yes, we really DO need DD sized breasted girls and scantily clad.
