Local game developer Christopher Bischoff says Stasis is turning out even better than he imagined, after having received feedback from some of the 70,000 gamers who have played the game’s alpha demo.
Stasis, which raised $132,523 (±1,366,378) in Kickstarter, is a 2D puzzle horror-adventure game and is a throwback to games of the 90s. It will be released for Windows and OSX.
“The involvement and continued interest in Stasis has allowed me to make an adventure game with no limits,” said Bischoff .
The sounds of Stasis will be scored by Mark Morgan, the composer behind Fallout, Torment: Tides Of Numenera, and Wasteland 2, and a writer has been added to the team to give gamers a complete package.
“I believe one of the largest draws for the player is the writing. It deserves as much attention as the graphics and will result in a richer end product,” said Bischoff.
No release date for the game has announced.
If you are keen to give Stasis a go, you can download the alpha demo from the game’s website.
