Exclusive Nikes for NBA 2K14 players

19 May 2014

LeBron James has partnered with Nike Basketball to bring you the limited edition Lebron 11 2K14 basketball shoe.

Why is this gaming news you ask? Well, the Lebron 11 2K14, of which a limited run of 2,014 pairs will be made, will only available to the best of the best NBA 2K14 players.

To be bestowed the honour of pre-ordering the flamboyant footwear players must reach several milestones in the game – including winning 60 games, earning an Elite ranking, and creating a signature shoe in the Nike Innovation Kitchen.

Only unlocking the achievements in the Xbox One and PS4 versions of the game will give you a shot at ordering the shoes, though.

The Lebron 11 2K14 is the first physical shoe to be earned through a video game, Nike claims, and will retail for $220 (±R2,770).
