Arena of Fate revealed by Crytek

22 May 2014

Crytek has released a teaser trailer for their new game, Arena of Fate.

There are not many details on the game, but what we do know is that it looks like a MOBA, battles are five versus five, and characters are people such as Frankenstein, Jack the Ripper, and Baron Münchhausen.

Game director Vesselin Handjiev mentioned Robin Hood, Joan of Arc, and Little Red Riding Hood, although it wasn’t clear whether they’re in the game or he’s simply selling the premise.

The game is being made by Crytek Sofia in Bulgaria, which made Knights of Honor and WorldShift.

Arena of Fate is expected to be shown at E3 and beta tests start on PC before the end of the year. The game is also expected to come to consoles.
