The most pirated console games right now

26 May 2014

Following our roundup of “the most pirated PC games of the moment”, we present to you the dark underbelly of the console gaming fraternity – the console pirates.

We visited four popular torrent sites to see what was hot property at the moment, and have ranked the titles according to how many seeders they have. PlayStation and Xbox games are ranked together, but differentiated in the lists.

Some of the more popular titles we spotted include: Watch Dogs, Grand Theft Auto 5, Wolfenstein: The New Order, 2014 Fifa World Cup Brazil, and The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

As always, we want to state that piracy through torrent sites is never a good thing, but what the illegal sharing of games does is let us know is which titles are desired most by the consumer (who has no desire to pay for something that was tirelessly worked on by teams of dedicated developers).

Don’t visit torrent sites at work, and definitely do not pirate games – it hurts the gaming industry.
