The Order: 1886 delayed

28 May 2014

Sony and Ready at Dawn have delayed the PlayStation 4 exclusive The Order: 1886 to “early 2015” so they can ensure the game is top-notch. The game was originally due for a late 2014 release.

“We want to hold true to something we’ve talked about in the past, which is delivering the experience without having this ebb and flow of: oh, this was really great and that was kind of meh, because we sacrificed a little time on it,” said Ready at Dawn chief Ru Weerasuriya.

The Order: 1886, which is set to run in 1080p at 30 fps on the Sony console, is a mix of steampunk weapons and 1880 environments, all seen from the third-person perspective.
