This week I have picked up some of the greatest gaming bargains ever thanks to Steam. I am now the proud owner of the classic platformer Abe’s Oddysee and its sequel, Abe’s Exodus, as well as the critically acclaimed deep space themed MMO Eve Online (as well as its most recent expansion, Tyrannis) and Eidos’ entire Commandos series.
Ok, so I may have already bought some of those games a few years ago, but only God knows where they are now, and everything I’ve mentioned cost me around R100.
Today one of 2010’s big hitters steps up to the plate: Mass Effect 2. If you did not buy this game back in February – assuming you do in fact have a soul – then you have no excuse to not buy it right now as Steam is selling it for 40% off its regular price at $29.99 (R230).
