Acer has announced the availability of its new line of 4K2K and WQHD monitors, including the Acer XB0 series designed for gamers.
The monitors, some of which will feature Acer’s ColourPlus and EyeProtect technology, are a world-first in the 4K2K 32-inch category, Acer claims.
The high-resolution monitors, which have started shipping and should be available in the near future, are the:
- Acer B6 – specialty series designed for the commercial market with up to a 32-inch screen and tilting display of -5 to 35 degrees;
- Acer CB0 – designed for the prosumer market, SMB, and home offices. Features Acer EyeProtect and ColourPlus technologies;
- Acer XB0 – designed for avid gamers, and optimised to run with Nvidia Geforce cards.
Varying in size from 27-inch to 32-inch, the screens are capable of displaying feeds in WQHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) and 4K2K (3840 x 2160 pixels). 21:9 aspect ratio (2560 x 1080 pixels) models are also available.
