Dinosaur hunting game The Stomping Land disappears

3 September 2014

Remember The Stomping Land, the game we wrote about a few months ago that lets you hunt and ride dinosaurs?

Well, the game has been pulled from Steam Early Access and reports are that The Stomping Land’s developers have gone quiet.

The game came to our attention after going through a stint on Kickstarter, and looked promising. Riding and killing dinosaurs was a novel concept, and several MyGaming readers gave the title the thumbs up.

Now, though, there is no word on what will happen to the game after it was successfully funded through its Kickstarter campaign in June 2013 and put on Steam’s Early Access list.

Gamespot contacted both Steam and The Stomping Land’s developers for comment, but had not received any feedback at the time of publication.

The game’s Facebook and Twitter pages have not been updated in months, pointing towards bad news for gamers who were keen for a bit of prehistoric hunting.

It’s a pity, the game looked fun.

Any The Stomping Land backers out there? Let us know your thoughts in the comments and forum.
