Telkom recently announced that it was reducing the price of its 20Mbps and 40Mbps VDSL products, effective from 1 October 2014.
Telkom’s VDSL price cuts include access and bundled rates, and are applicable to new and existing customers.
Other providers, including Afrihost, Axxess, and Vox Telecom, have also reduced their VDSL rates.
This raises the question: how do Telkom’s new home (consumer) uncapped VDSL bundled rates stack up against other service providers’ prices? The following table answers that question.
It should be noted that these prices exclude residential voice line rental, which costs R166.50 per month.
