In June Sony announced their premier PlayStation Plus service; a tack on to the PSN requiring a month subscription in exchange for a selection of free PlayStation store goodies.
A one year membership will cost you R489 (R40.75 per month), while you can opt in to a 3 month plan for R145 (R48.33). Sony promised that each month PlayStation Plus subscribers would get at least 2 free PSN games, 2 free 60 minute game trials, 2 themes, 2 avatars and some add-ons. Additional PSN store discounts are also promised.
Today Sony revealed its special offers to PlayStaion Plus subscribers for August and September.

More surprises are promised, and this is apparently not the complete list of what PlayStation Plus users will be getting.
There is not much on that list that makes me desperately want to sign up for PlayStation Plus, although the entire Sam & Max pack is pretty tempting, and Abe’s Odyssey would be worth downloading. Let us know what you think in the forums.
