EA is giving away SimCity 2000 Special Edition free through its online gaming platform Origin – and you are invited to download the classic title.
As a city-building fan, I tried to get the free game this morning, but an error message keeps popping up telling me to try again later. Hopefully this is resolved.
As with all of Origin’s On the House promotions, the game is free to download and then keep and play for as long as you want.
“Our goal is to provide a great gaming experience and a way to discover awesome new games. Having a game in your library, for free, is a fantastic way to see what Origin is all about,” said EA.
The holidays are coming up, and nothing brings a broken family together like a bit of PC gaming nostalgia – so get downloading.
