THQ has announced the full launch of the company’s new WWE videogames portal, as well as the official community website for WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011.
The two sites will feature news on the latest WWE videogame content, official forums, an exclusive blog written by WWE Superstar The Miz, and a Create-a-Superstar application. The two sites will serve to generate interest and disseminate news in the build up to the launch of the new title.
THQ also announced the anticipated availability of several new WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011 themed avatars for the Xbox 360. The avatars include a number of WWE Superstars, attire options and accessories, including:
- John Cena – Outfits (Male and Female), Cap
- Undertaker – Outfits (Male and Female), Hat
- DX – Outfits (Male and Female), Glowsticks, Cap
- Edge – Outfits (Male and Female)
- Randy Orton – Shirts (Male and Female)
- WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011 – Shirts (Male and Female)
- Hornswoggle – Animated WWE Superstar
- Rey Mysterio – Mask
- WWE Championship Belt
WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011 is currently in development for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation®2, PSP and the Wii. The release is scheduled for October 26, 2010.
