Xbox One Update

Microsoft recently showed off what is to come in the May update for the Xbox One. Although this update focuses more on the Windows 10 integration, which is rather exciting to say the least, it does have a few improvements on the cards.

Some of the highlighted features are the new Wireless Display App that allows you to stream “unprotected” videos and photos straight from the app to the Xbox One, and the ability to turn off your console via the SmartGlass app.

Along with those additions, the Windows 10 Xbox One app looks fantastic. DVR via the app allows you to record game footage from you Windows games, and the ability to control your Xbox One media player from you Windows PC.

Microsoft have also fixed up a few bugs like the Party app issue where users could not use voice commands after launching the app.

The May update should be live in the first week of May. For all of the patch notes, visit Major Nelson’s blog.
