GDC Online Audience Award nominations open

The Game Developers Choice Online Awards organisers have announced the opening of the Audience Award nominations. Online gaming fans around the world are encouraged to vote for their favourite persistent online game.

The GDC Online conference was formerly GDC Austin, and will be held in Austin, Texas from October 5 to October 8. Among the numerous award categories is the Audience Award, which honours the favourite game of the worldwide online game community. The Audience Award winner will be announced at the Choice Online Award ceremony on Oct 7, 2010.

Gamers may nominate any currently-operating persistent online game, whether it be a subscription MMO, free-to-play web game title, social network game, or anything else. The deadline for votes is Friday, September 24th at 12am PDT (Friday, 24 September, 9am in South Africa).
