The Witcher 3 DLC similar in size to The Witcher 2

During a Gamelab 2015 panel, in an interview with Gamereactor, CD Projekt RED’s Konrad Tomaszkiewicz shared a couple of details about what we should expect from the upcoming DLCs for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

Tomaszkiewicz revealed that the expansion packs will incorporate whole new storylines with elements like cutscenes, new characters, new items, new Gwent cards and much more, as we should expect.

CD Projekt RED promises that these will be quite long with the first expansion at around 10 hours and the second expansion playing for around 20 hours.

There is quite a large possibility that these expansions will be bigger than expected. When compared to the size of The Witcher 2, these expansions may be very similar, given the play time as well.

The Hearts of Stone DLC will launch sometime this spring, while Blood and Wine will be made available in early 2016.
