Over the last few weeks many broadband Internet service providers reduced the prices of their fixed broadband products.
In the latest round of price cuts, MWEB slashed the prices of nine of its fibre-to-the-home products, and added five new FTTH offerings.
This followed an announcement by Telkom that it had reduced the prices of its fibre-to-the-home packages.
Telkom’s FTTH prices now range from R699 per month for the 10Mbps, 50GB package, to R1,599 for the 100Mbps, 200GB package.
