DoGaming announces R160,000 cash for LAN Champs

18 October 2010

SA’s competitive gaming community was up in arms a few months ago when DoGaming announced that they had not managed to secure their regular block booking at rAge’s NAG LAN for their championship finals.

As promised though, DoGaming will be channelling additional resources into prize money to make up for the faux pas. This year, a whopping R160 000 will be awarded to competing gamers.

DoGaming has partnered with Organised Chaos, and will be holding events at the OC LAN’s in Johannesburg as well as Cape Town.

A “preliminary CoD 4 championship” will be held at Cape Town’s OC LAN at the Velodrome. Players will not have to pay to enter the competition, but they will have to pay R120 for their LAN ticket.
