New areas planned for FTTH announced by Fibrehoods

Fibrehoods is expanding its aerial fibre-to-the-home network to additional suburbs in Gauteng, following a demand from residents for high-speed broadband.

The company said it will roll out fibre to homes in Vandia Grove, Beverly Gardens, Bryanston Extension 3, O’Summit, Kensington B and Bryanfern in the next few months.

This follows Fibrehoods’ deployment of FTTH services in Craighall, Craighall Park, Atholl, Inanda, Illovo and Dunkeld – which is due to be complete by the end of 2015.

Fibrehoods also recently announced it had added Bordeaux South onto its network plan, with more suburbs to follow.
