    “Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain sold over $179 million in revenue for its first day of release.
    By comparison, Avengers: Age of Ultron made $84 million on opening day with a much bigger budget.”

    Ya.. because the cost to see the avengers is between R60 to R120 while MGS retails for about R899 in brick and mortar shops…

    Games do not outsell movie tickets. They are just priced like 9 times higher. This is the problem with the net. Every tom dick and harry that was academically poor in school just sits on their couch, writes an article and thinks they’re a journalist. No background of stats or economics, or even comparing apples with apples. Something this article fails to accomplish.
