So Fable III launched on Friday, and most of the subsequent weekend was spent abusing Lionhead’s devs on their forums for a number of game-breaking glitches. It probably doesn’t mean much now to anyone who had to restart the game after getting permanently stuck in a bit of game geometry somewhere, but Lionhead is already working on a game update.
A post on the company’s blog explains that, “Of course as with any videogame there are some people with technical issues. That’s bound to happen of course with a game the size of Fable, our poor testers worked flat out but if something slips through the nets, then don’t panic!”.
They’ve also set up a dedicated web page to report issues with the game, although to that one guy I saw complaining about Lionhead’s “****ty coding” because his game profile was corrupted after he ejected the disc while it was still saving, don’t bother. You’re the one who slipped through the nets.
No prospective date for the patch has been announced yet.
