Is anyone really surprised that CD Projekt RED had nothing to confirm regarding the recent report that they were shooting for a 2016 release date for Cyberpunk 2077? Thought not.
Considering the promised scope and scale of the game, the end of 2016 is just too short a time frame, something we pointed out yesterday.
We’d much prefer it released when it’s good and ready, and CD Projekt RED expressed the very same sentiment via a tweet from Marcin Momot, Community Lead and Website Coordinator at CD Projekt RED.
@ShaikhSehran We don't comment on rumors. The only thing we want to share now is we'll release @CyberpunkGame when we're done creating it.

There’s nothing more to say really.
We’re in no hurry; there are a good assortment of promising titles on the horizon, and besides, our backlogs need a little love.
