Dead Meets Lead gameplay trailer released

16 November 2010

Dead Meets Lead was announced in September 2010. The game is a fast paced zombie slaying hack n’ slash from the independent studio Keldyn Interactive, based in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Gamers will take on the role of an 18th century ship commander known as “The Captain” who sets out to rid a Caribbean island of its zombie infestation. Little info is known on a release date other than sometime in 2011.

Today Keldyn Interactive has released the first gameplay trailer for Dead Meets Lead. The trailer follows the main character through a few maps, showcasing some of the aspects of the game, such as his ability to slam the ground and shoot down zombies with his blunderbuss.

Several enemies which have never been shown before are revealed – among them are several types of “human” zombies, zombified hounds and the mystic voodoo priests. The video also displays the unique environment and the graphics of Dead Meets Lead.

Being a devout Christian, some would even say on the verge of fanatic, the good captain was firmly set on cleansing the island by his own hands…
