Doom is visceral. Doom is brutal. Doom is launching on May 13th, 2016.
That’s right, we finally have a release date for id Software’s latest and greatest shooter, and it’s launching a lot earlier than we expected – we initially expected a Q3 or 4 release date.
Alongside the release date, Doom was also announced to be launching with a premium edition – including:
An exclusive, fully-realized 12” tall collector’s statue of the Revenant, modelled from in-game 3D files and standing on an LED-lit base with “internal, slow-spinning turbine from the UAC facility on Mars.” There’s also a battle-worthy metal case, which is nice.
