Microsoft no longer accepts bitcoin as a payment method in its store on Windows 10 devices.

The company said users can no longer redeem Bitcoin into their Microsoft account.

“Existing balances in your account will still be available for purchases from Microsoft Store, but can’t be refunded,” said Microsoft.

Engadget stated that Microsoft has not explained the reasons behind the decision, and whether it will affect the company’s other platforms – such as Xbox.
