Exclusive Books has announced that they will be suspending their popular Flash Mob Fire Sales. The sales specials previously gave consumers the opportunity to grab certain titles for a low price for just a few hours.
Apparently the sales have proven far too popular, and Exclusive Books has had to suspend the campaign for logistical reasons. A statement posted via their Facebook page explains:
“First of all we would like to thank each and every one of you for participating in our Flash Mob Fire Sales. The response we’ve had from the online community was certainly overwhelming.”
“Unfortunately we underestimated the popularity of these sales, and consequently some of our customers have been disappointed. We would like to assure you that your orders have been received, and that you will receive your purchases. We are currently working around the clock to identify all outstanding orders and following up on them to make sure that they are fulfilled.”
“Due to the circumstances the future Flash Mob Fire Sales have been put on hold indefinitely. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.”
Gamers will undoubtedly be disappointed as there were some truly fantastic bargains to be found during the sales. However, Exclusive Books’ gaming online retail section still remains a competitively priced option for gamers looking for a bargain, complete with competitive delivery charges.
