Six months ago The Humble Indie Bundle launched, offering gamers a limited time to buy five of the top indie titles of the moment. The deal was later expanded to include six titles.
The deal was quite innovative, as it allowed buyers to specify how much they wanted to pay, and also specify how much of their particular contribution went to a charity or to the developers of the games.
The Humble Indie Bundle was highly successful and raised in excess of US$1 million for charity.
With the deal over, the games are permanently available to buyers via the Humble Bundle key page.
Wolfire Games, orchestrators of the deal, have just announced that the Humble Indie Bundle games can now be activated via Steam. All buyers have to do is log into their Steam account and redeem the key which is likely sitting in their inbox right now.
