Criterion recently announced that a Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Super Sports DLC pack would be dropping later this month, but they’ve now confirmed that not only is this add-on not coming to PC, but no additional DLC either.
“Hey all, unfortunately we will not be releasing Need for Speed Hot Pursuit PDLC for the PC,” writes dev ‘EA Spenser’ on the official forums. “While we are certainly committed to providing the best possible game experience and ongoing support for our PC community, (as you have already noted) we have a limited amount of resources that makes it so that we are unable to deliver new content to all platforms. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience, but on the positive side we do have more updates and content on the way for PC players – look for news very soon.”
Obviously, PC gamers weren’t exactly impressed with the news, although user ALPINEWB’s response is sort of hilarious: “my english is not very good so please someone read ea’s policy and lets see if we can sue them in some way. Thats the only way to see if we can push them to do something”.
I don’t think that’s going to work.
