S2 Games has updated HoN to version 2.0, and the patch introduces a new 3v3 map, as well as ‘casual mode’ and a map editor. A brand new micro-transition store has also been added which allows players to purchase cosmetic items, including the ‘flamboyant’ voice pack which adds a quirky new audio outlay for the game.
The long awaited match-making revamp which was originally due to be introduced with this update is not present, and is supposedly still undergoing testing.
This update comes just after IS announced that their HoN servers are back up and running , after a brief period in which there were no local servers operating.
