Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood map unlock challenge announced

24 December 2010

All roads lead to Rome. And in Rome, all roads lead to DEATH. Nothing is true, everything is permitted, and some guy in a harlequin suit is probably going to jump out of a haystack and stab you in the face.

That’s the big idea, anyway – Ubisoft’s just announced a new multiplayer challenge for Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, tasking players to rack up 25 million kills for a new, night-time map variant of Rome. Simple enough, except for the 25 million kills bit.

The mission brief from Ubisoft Abstergo reads:

“Attention Agents! We have recently uncovered an environmental variant that we believe you will find helpful in your training. However, Dr. Vidic demands that you earn the right to access this new map entitled Rome by Night. His terms require that you collectively reach 25 million kills within the Animus Project (multiplayer), once you have reached this goal, we will be authorized to unlock the new area.

Thank you for your time, Agents… now, let’s not disappoint Dr. Vidic.”

You can check up on the challenge progress on the AC Events page, but stop wasting time, fool – you’ve got a new pursuer on you. Go get stabby.
