Five Nights at Freddy’s could come to console

10 May 2016

Scott Cawthorn, developer of the Five Nights at Freddy’s series, is considering bringing the franchise to consoles.

When asked on the Steam forums whether the games would be making the jump to current-gen consoles, Cawthorn replied:

Actually, yes! It will happen. I’m talking with a few companies who are interested in doing console remakes of the original games. 🙂

Cawthorn further elaborated that talks were still in the early stages and not to expect a release before 2017. When asked, he also said it was unlikely that the Wii U would be receiving a port.

All four of the Five Nights at Freddy’s games are currently available to download on PC, iOS and Android.
