HP ZBook 17 headline

HP ZBook 17 Mobile Workstation was built to deliver ultimate mobile performance, and features a 17.3-inch screen, with massive scalability and configurability.

This laptop is 25% thinner and 11% lighter than the previous generation, with a striking magnesium aluminum facelift.

MyGaming wanted to see how far we could push the performance of this laptop, and asked HP what the highest spec ZBook 17 Mobile Workstation will look like. Here it is.

  • Processing: Xeon E3-1575 Mobile XEON Processor
  • Memory: 64GB ECC DDR4 Memory
  • Storage: Dual 1TB Pci SSD’s
  • Graphics: Nvidia Quadro M5000 8GB
  • OS: Windows 10

The price tag for this beast: R140,000 ex VAT.

I have done some calculations, and if I cut the wife’s clothing budget by half and take the kids out of school, we may just get there in a year.
