The upcoming iteration of the PlayStation 4 is set to release this year, according to a distributor’s earnings results, VideoGamer reports.

French video games distributor Innelec Multimedia’s annual earnings reports state that the PlayStation Neo 4K will release in the first half of its financial year.

Innelec Multimedia’s press release has disappeared off the company’s website, although multiple sources have verified the same information.

The upcoming iterations of Sony’s console will feature a significantly more powerful graphics processing unit, with various other improvements aimed at 4K gaming and virtual reality.

The Innelec Multimedia report suggests that the upcoming console will release before the end of September 2016.
