Ubisoft has announced that Zeit², developed by Brightside Games, is available on XBLA for 800 Microsoft Points and on PC (via Steam) for US$9.99 (±R68).
Zeit² is a traditional side-scrolling, 2D-shoot’em up. Zeit²’s unique time travel feature has yet to be seen in this decades-old genre. Intuitive controls for moving forward and backward make it possible for players to combine their shots and powers while being assisted by a shadow version of themself.
Zeit² made it to the top 20 of Microsoft’s 2008 Dream Build Play challenge, was a finalist in the 2009 Independent Games Festival Student Showcase and a finalist in the 2010 Indie Game Challenge.
