A Reddit user has determined the exact chance of receiving a specific loot item in Overwatch.
“Ouroboros” measured the drop rates of specific rarities by watching a number of crate opening videos online.
He then compared and tabulated his results in order to determine what your exact chances are of receiving a common, rare, epic or legendary item are.
While it should be noted that this system is far from perfect, it does provide a good outline of the probabilities involved.
