Corsair unveils lightning-fast 2TB gaming SSDs

Corsair has launched its Neutron XTi gaming SSDs, featuring massive storage and incredibly fast transfer rates, PC Gamer reports.

The Neutron XTi SSDs use a quad-core Phison S10 controller paired with multi-level flash memory.

Currently, the Neutron XTi SSD lineup includes 240GB, 480GB, and 960GB drives – although Corsair has promised to add a 2TB SSD to their lineup soon.

The drives use SATA 6Gbps connections, and feature a read transfer rate of 560MB/s paired with write transfer speeds of 540MB/s.

The Neutron XTi SSDs are priced at $90, $160, and $330 for the 240GB, 480GB, and 960GB drives respectively.

Pricing and release date for the 2TB Neutron XTi SSD has not been confirmed, although Corsair have promised that the drive is coming soon.

There is currently no South African pricing available for the Corsair Neutron XTi SSD lineup.
