Nintendo has announced that the Legend of Zelda game for the Wii U set to launch alongside the Nintendo NX console in 2017 will be called “Breath of the Wild”.

At its Treehouse event ahead of E3, Nintendo said that the new Zelda game would have an entirely different approach to earlier games in the series.

The trailer below shows Link exploring what appears to be an open world, taming a horse, cooking food, hunting animals, crafting structures, climbing buildings and cliffs, and defeating monsters.

Nintendo announced earlier this year that its new Zelda game would be delayed from its 2015 launch window to March 2017, so that it could launch on the Wii U and a new console, code-named the NX, simultaneously.
